What is a Keyword Research Tool?

A keyword research tool helps you discover the exact words and phrases people type into search engines like Google, Bing, and YouTube. By understanding what your target audience is searching for, you can create content that ranks higher, drives more traffic, and converts better.

Our free keyword research tool uses Google Autocomplete, Bing Autocomplete, and YouTube Autocomplete APIs to generate hundreds of real keyword suggestions — the same queries real users type every day.

How to Use This Tool

  1. Enter a seed keyword related to your topic or niche
  2. Select your target search engine: Google, YouTube, or Bing
  3. Choose your country and language for localized results
  4. Click "Find Keywords" and wait a few seconds
  5. Browse results across 5 tabs: Ideas, Questions, Prepositions, Related, and Long-tail
  6. Save keywords to your list, copy them, or export as CSV/TXT

Why Keyword Research Matters

Keyword research is the foundation of every successful SEO and content marketing strategy. Without it, you're guessing what your audience wants. With it, you can create highly targeted content that answers real questions, ranks for real searches, and brings in real traffic.

Long-tail keywords (4+ words) typically have lower competition and higher intent, making them ideal for new websites and blogs trying to rank faster on Google.

Pro Tips for Better Results

  • Start with broad keywords, then drill down to specific niches
  • Check the "Questions" tab for FAQ and featured snippet opportunities
  • Use "Prepositions" tab to find buying intent keywords
  • Long-tail keywords often have 3–5x higher conversion rates
  • Search with different country settings to find region-specific opportunities

Frequently Asked Questions

How many keywords does this tool generate?
Each search generates up to 200 unique keyword ideas by expanding your seed keyword with a-z letters, question words (who, what, when, where, why, how), prepositions (for, with, near, vs), and long-tail modifiers across multiple parallel API calls.
Is the keyword data real?
Yes! We use Google Autocomplete, Bing Autocomplete, and YouTube Autocomplete APIs — the same data that powers actual search bar suggestions. These are real queries from real users.
Why are search volumes showing dashes?
Search volume, CPC, and competition data requires a Keywords Everywhere or DataForSEO API key. Both services offer free tiers. Once you add an API key in config.php, volume data will display automatically.
Can I use this for YouTube keyword research?
Yes! Select "YouTube" from the search engine dropdown to get keyword suggestions specifically from YouTube's autocomplete system. These are the exact phrases people search for on YouTube.
What file formats can I export keywords in?
You can export keywords as CSV (comma-separated, opens in Excel/Google Sheets) or TXT (plain text, one keyword per line). You can also copy all keywords to clipboard with one click.
